My name is Sister Gloria Ballinger and I’ve got a testimony! God is the center of my life. I’m blessed to be able to tell of God’s goodness to everyone I meet, and to tell of God’s goodness to the ones I hold dear. Yes, we have COVID-19 in the world, and my thoughts and prayers are always, “Lord God, your will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Lord, may you comfort, strengthen and give us resilience.”
I’ve been working my job as an essential worker; however, I don’t feel essential is the proper description. That’s in no comparison to God calling me the apple of His eye.
My testimony is gratefulness. Constant prayer on my mind, constant prayer with the saints, and fasting unto God. Most importantly, praise in my heart and praise all the day long! I won’t complain! COVID-19 is in the world, but COVID-19 doesn’t have my salvation.
My testimony is thankfulness, knowing that the greatest gift of all was when Jesus came into our broken world to rescue us from our sins. God drew near to us through Jesus so we could know God personally and be with Him forever. His loving presence with us is the greatest gift of all. Yes, Jesus gave His life on earth, death on the cross, and rose again.
My testimony is knowing that God is with us through all of our challenges, and knowing our trials are temporary. My testimony begins and will forever be, thankfulness. I thank you, Lord, for being with me always in good times and in bad times. Matthew 6:19-21 reminds us, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” And that’s my testimony!
