The Holiness Tabernacle 13th Church Anniversary was comparable to none and the Lord consistently showed up as the saints basked in His glory. Celebrating 13 years in Prince William County, the 2011 theme, “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet!” echoes in the hearts of the saints, operating with one accord in the beauty of holiness. The messages from our guest speakers were in sync with the Word of God coming through our pastor, Eddie B Pruitte Jr. One might not expect a typical church anniversary to move in this manner. Of course, HTC is no typical church. How could one expect anything less when the church is Spirit led and filled?

Invited guest speakers imparted godly wisdom into the saints – they were genuine testaments of how God can use and keep His people in a sinful world. There was not a dull moment at any point during the anniversary services. Dynamic words of wisdom touched on the following:
- Bishop Brown of the Church of Blessed Trinity spearheaded the services, focusing on current events and the changes in the church;
- Supt. William Coles of the Loving COGIC discussed God’s master plan and centered on the church being an example of holy living and witnessing; and
- Elder Andie Cork Sr. of Mt. Peniel COGIC dealt with restoring the waste places and repairing the breach in our lives and service.
These messages inspired HTC to truly worship, and sparked sense of urgency to do great things in the Lord and show others the way to the kingdom. The culmination of the anniversary was a time of consecration on the day of Pentecost. The saints embraced an atmosphere of praise and worship like FIRE shut up in their bones, needing to escape.
HTC counts it a pleasure to be in the midst of this Holy Ghost eruption of power, healing and deliverance. Our mission focus to “preach the gospel and spread the message of holiness such that men’s lives will be changed…” is evident in the mighty outpouring of His Spirit; lives were changed and a spirit of thanksgiving fills the church daily.
We honor our pastor for accepting the call to establish an unmovable rock and light to a dying world. Pastor Pruitte stepped out on faith as the Lord led him and has not looked back. As the vision is clearly revealed and confirmed through the move of the Spirit, the HTC family is filled with excitement and anticipation for the next anniversary as the Lord continues to edify this body of believers and the edifice.
We count it an honor and a pleasure to be chosen of God to be a place where the Lord chooses to dwell. The challenge is set before us: to become a modern day Azusa Street Revival. Ultimately, we still know “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet!”
