Upgrade Your Life: Preparing for the Overflow!

Welcome to the Holiness Tabernacle Women’s Department! In keeping with our church theme, our women-focused theme for 2012 is “Upgrade Your Life: Preparing for the Overflow!” and our aim is to empower the women of God to discover ways to improve their lives both naturally and spiritually.

Activities & Events

Women’s Fellowship: Join us for our monthly fellowship, every second Wednesday from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Discuss issues pertinent to women today, enjoy group outings such as spa days and movie nights, and develop strategies to live holy in the twenty-first century.

Women’s Weekend: The 2012 Women’s Weekend will be July 13-15 and our invited guest speaker is the First Lady of the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Virginia, Mother Charletta Thomas. Our Saturday Ladies’ Tea and Sunday service are designed to minister to the women of HTC and reach out to women in the community – women who may not otherwise step inside of a church, but are in need of a Word from the Lord.

Annual Retreat Weekend: The 2012 Women’s Retreat will be September 7-9 in Williamsburg. Let’s leave the men at home and enjoy a weekend of shopping, laughter, amusement parks, workshops, good food and more with our sisters in Christ!

Women in Ministry

First Lady’s Blog: Visit my First Lady’s Blog the first Monday of each month for a personal story on how God has grown me in my walk with Christ.

Mother’s Board: The Mother’s Board oversees the activities of the Women’s Department and serves as the arms of the Pastor to aide in the development of women.

Missionaries: We provide training for licensed and aspiring missionaries.

Words to Live By: Check out our Words to Live By and enjoy the monthly personal stories of encouragement written by the ladies of Holiness Tabernacle.

Come out and join the Holiness Tabernacle Women’s Department this year. God has so many wonderful things in store for His choice women – let’s get ready for the upgrade!
